THERIN

Hi there!

​

My name is Erin, and from before I could walk, I had a hard time sitting still. Growing up, I was lucky enough to be born into a family whose summers were spent road-tripping through B.C., taking off-the-beaten-path family trips, and weekends spent walking through the woods or alongside the unforgiving coast of Vancouver Island. 

​     These experiences inspired me to see what else this world has to offer, and from the age I could work, my weekends were spent flipping blizzards at the local Dairy Queen, shaving meats at the deli, or stocking shelves at the pharmacy. Once I was 19 and out of school, I set off traveling. Despite all the fun I was having, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was missing. I felt disconnected from my family back in Canada and longed for a way to keep them in the loop and share all the wonderful moments I have experienced away from home.

 

So that brings us here, to hereandtherin. A space where I can take all the chicken scratch from endless journal entries and turn them into stories sent home. Complete with photo updates and stories from the road.  ​
